miss richfield 1981
This week's episode of "Cake Boss" is a mystery to me.The two cakes were featured holiday theme - perfect for a December incident. But Cake Boss Sneak Peek Party in October, said Buddy "Cake Boss" Valastro me the episodes were shot in the summer and early autumn. So what about the drag queen's throw from holiday cakes and PR agency with a holiday party.
There are a few possible explanations. Either TLC did an extra week of filming in December specifically to get holiday footage, or these people were ordering these holiday cakes in the summer. Or worse, these orders were actually orchestrated by TLC with a December episode in mind. But that couldn't happen on a "reality" show. A careful review of the show (thank you TIVO) shows a woman walking by the shop in coat and gloves as Miss Richfield 1981 walks in. So the drag queen order may be legit. But what about the two women ordering for their pr firm? They seem to be dressed for summer in light t-shirts, short skirts and bare legs. But when the guys deliver the cake, there's a scene of ice skating at Rockefeller Center, and people on the street are wearing light jackets. And at Miss Richfield's cake bursting scene, a few audience members are also wearing light jackets.
In addition, DVD of "colorful characters & Christmas costumes," and not "taste" she told us in October. So my final conclusion that the TLC must be turned this episode this month.
Stay tuned, I will check with TLC during business hours tomorrow to find out what really happened.
